Each of the four classes will be attending for one day to take part in outdoor adventurous activities, as this is a statutory requirement of the National Curriculum. The children will take part in activities that school cannot provide, such as archery, abseiling, raft building and kayaking. We have been visiting the Anderton Centre now for many years and they are an excellent provider of outdoor education for the North West of England. Tuesday 23rd June Y5C Wednesday 24th June Y5F Thursday 25th June Y6H Friday 26th June Y6E The cost for one day at The Anderton Centre will be £35 School is also subsidising an amount towards this trip in order to keep the cost to yourselves manageable. We are aware that this is a more expensive trip so you will be able to pay for these trips in instalments. The trip is 15 weeks away. This would be £2.33 a week or £8.75 a month
